Celebrate 100 Years of the Studio โMake a Donation Today
Esherickโs joyful, handcrafted Studio is a total work of art, from the building itself to the light switches inside. An autobiography in three dimensions, WEM represents Esherickโs artistic home, a home to his truest expression of self and his boundless creativity.
As we celebrate the Studio’s centennial year, we have set a goal to raise $100,000 to support the Studioโs ongoing preservation so it may continue to delight visitors for generations to come. We hope you will join us. Its next century, like its first, will be shaped by those who find value in it and choose to be part of its unfolding story.
Whether you choose to join as a Friends of Esherick member or make a fully tax-deductible donation, your financial support is critical; more than 60% or our annual operating budget comes from contributed funds.
The Wharton Esherick Museum is an exempt organization as described in Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code and your contribution is tax-deductible to the fullest extent allowed by law.

Support FAQs
How do I redeem my free admission benefits or museum store discount?
Friends of Esherick members receive two promo codes in their membership materials which are sent by both mail and email. One promo code can be used for booking a tour and the other to redeem your museum store discount.
What is the difference between a donor and a Friend of Esherick member?
There are two ways that you can support the museum financially โ through a Friends of Esherick membership or through a donation. We are grateful for both! In short, if you want to receive free admission and other benefits become a Friend of Esherick member. If you prefer, you can waive those benefits to make a donation that is fully tax-deductible.ย You can also support the museum by becoming a volunteer!
Is Friends of Esherick a membership program?
Yes! We call our newly-designed membership program Friends of Esherick to recognize that so many of you in our community are supporters from across the country and even the globe united by our appreciation for Esherickโs legacy. Furthermore, a membership here is not just transactional โ through your support you are celebrating Esherickโs creative spirit and the values embodied in his handcrafted studio home, and actively ensuring the preservation of his legacy for generations to come.
Do members need to make reservations to visit?
Yes, members must still make a reservation to take a tour. We do also offer members ourย Member Sundays in the Studios, a member-only hour on the first Sunday the month where reservations are not required!ย Check out the details on our event calendar.
