One Object, Many Stories Exhibition ReceptionMarch 26, 20232:00pm – 4:00pm

Please be my guest for an afternoon of music, stories, and conversation in celebration of our new exhibition One Object, Many Stories: Esherick’s Music Stand, on view in the Visitor Center beginning March 2nd. This event will include a cello performance, refreshments, special access to the 1956 Workshop, and a chance to explore the installation along with a selection of additional items related to the Rubinsons. Featuring the prototype music stand created for Esherick’s friend and client Rose Rubinson, One Object, Many Stories: Esherick’s Music Stand takes a deep dive into this well known sculptural furniture form. We’re delighted to host Geoffrey Berwind, a professional storyteller and member of WEM’s Board of Directors, for this event; Geoffrey’s generosity has made the exhibition of the music stand and its return to the Studio possible. We hope you‘ll join us to hear more about his personal connection to the site and the spirited role his family played in Esherick’s story! As a special member of our WEM community, we want to extend this invitation in gratitude for your past support. The event is free, we just ask that you register below to let us know you’ll be attending!
