In celebration of Daring Design: The Impact of Three Women on Wharton Esherick’s Craft, currently on view at the Michener Art Museum, we’re excited to highlight photographer and Esherick patron Marjorie Content! In this fun 20-minute program, we’ll explore Content’s friendship with Esherick which led to a number of commissioned works, including an unparalleled bedroom set for her New York City apartment. We’ll also take a look at the Content photos held in our photo collection and shed a little light on this important part of our museum archives.

Wondering about the other two women featured in Daring Design? Keep your eye on our upcoming events — we’ll be highlighting both Hanna Weil and Helene Fischer in future Spotlight Talks!

This is a free online event; advance reservations are required. Please register below to receive instructions on how to join us! If able, please consider a $5 donation to support our ongoing programs. Donate HERE.
