Esherick’s Studio was built over several decades from 1926 through 1966 and is, in many ways, a revealing self-portrait showcasing the many influences that helped shape his architectural and artistic aesthetic and his lifestyle.  In this Spotlight Talk, we’ll discuss some of these influences in more detail, including the philosophies of Frank Lloyd Wright and Rudolf Steiner, as well as German Expressionist art. We will discuss how Esherick was able to blend these ideas together to build the Studio we know today. This focused 20-minute event includes time for questions.
