Don’t be square, be prismatic! Join us as we get in the Halloween spirit with a screening of The Cabinet of Dr. Caligari (1920) in the 1956 Workshop. What better place to enjoy this classic film than the Wharton Esherick Museum? Considered by many to be the first great horror movie, the distorted forms and warped perspectives of this celebrated German Expressionist film were a significant influence on Esherick. Look no further than the twists and turns of our Visitor Center or Esherick’s reconstructed outhouse!
Hot apple cider, popcorn, and halloween candy will be available! Enjoy beautiful autumn views from the Workshop patio and brief opening remarks before the film.
Tickets are Limited:
