Join us for a member opening reception in celebration of Telling Tales: WEM’s 29th Annual Juried Woodworking Exhibition on view June 1, 2023 – August 27, 2023. Telling Tales celebrates the importance of storytelling in Esherick’s life and career by featuring twenty-five artists whose work is a testament to the power of a well-told story. This member-exclusive event will include special access to the 1956 Workshop and a chance to explore the prizewinning works on display in the Visitor Center. Come chat with the artists and the WEM team as we celebrate this year’s show and the potential of storytelling through art!
This hybrid exhibition features the work of 25 contemporary makers and artists hosted virtually on our website. The artworks selected for First, Second, and Third Place and Honorable Mention will also be on display onsite in our Visitor Center through August 27th.
This event is free and exclusive to members. (Thank you for being a part of our community!) Members are welcome to bring one non-member guest per membership. We just ask that you register below and let us know you’re coming!
