Join us for a member-exclusive talk on the newly reconfigured Studio followed by a special members’ shopping day! Concurrent with a portion of our collection currently on view at the Brandywine Museum of Art, we are excited to showcase rarely seen objects from our collection and beyond in Art, Work and Everyday Life: A New Look at the Esherick Studio. WEM’s Director of Interpretation and Associate Curator of Special Collections, Holly Gore will lead a conversation on the behind the scenes research and decision-making that informed the Studio’s new installations. Our conversation with Holly will be followed by a Studio Open House from 1:30-2:00PM where members can explore the Studio in its latest iteration!
The Open House will be followed by a Holiday Pop-Up Shopping Day in the 1956 Workshop – and we’re doubling the discount for members! For this event only, members will receive an extra 10% discount on their usual member store benefit, meaning a total of 20% off your holiday shopping items! The Workshop will feature a selection of artist made goods and newly released items from the Museum store, with complimentary hot cider, cocoa, and cookies while you browse.
Please note, this is a member-exclusive event. Members can attend free of charge and are welcome to bring up to one non-member guest. Space is limited so please sign up below to reserve your spot.
