Join us for a virtual conversation with furniture maker, designer, and educator Laura Mays!
This spring Mays kicked off our ‘Creatives on Esherick,’ series highlighting Esherick’s resonance with artists and makers working today – and we’re excited to keep the conversation rolling! In addition to her creative practice, Mays is the Program Director and Lead Instructor of the Fine Woodworking program at The Krenov School at Mendocino College and was co-curator of the exhibition, Making a Seat at the Table: Women Transform Woodworking, held at The Center for Art in Wood last year. Wondering where the conversation might lead us? She recently shared a few reflections on Esherick’s work in our May blog post, Creatives on Esherick: Laura Mays.
This is a free online event; advance reservations are required. Please register below to receive instructions on how to join us!
We look forward to seeing you there!
