Join us on Saturday, July 27 from 2:00-4:00 PM for a special program led by the winner of our 30th annual juried woodworking exhibition, Chelsea Witt. Chelsea will be leading guests in a two-hour drawing workshop hosted in the light-filled 1956 Workshop that overlooks the valley. The afternoon begins with a guided walkthrough of Esherick’s 1926 Studio to inspire creativity. Chelsea will then give a brief presentation on their drawing and furniture making practices before leading visitors through a meditative drawing experience. Guests will be experimenting with repetitive line patterns and ways they can be manipulated to evoke movement and rhythm. This event is open to all people regardless of your experience with drawing and we welcome people to try their hand at something new!

Visitors are welcome to bring their own drawing materials and WEM will be providing watercolor paper and drawing implements. Light fare and refreshments will be provided.
